Higgins Partnerships refurbishments are led by the needs of people. We refurbish buildings and living spaces to enhance their quality of life.
For more than 50 years, we have been putting people first. We know how important it is to stay on budget, minimise disruption and deliver on time. Our refurbishment process achieves all of this through robust planning and scheduling. From the outset, detailed planning shows initial preconstruction and construction activities, together with timescales and sequencing. We know what we need to do, and when we need to do it. We also create a documented plan of mitigation, preparing every project for every eventuality. It is this rigorous planning, paired with clear communication, that allows us to prepare residents in advance and go on to deliver improved high quality homes.
Every one of our refurbishment projects maximises design to create easier living. We demand the highest standards on every project, delivering the highest quality homes that people are proud to live in. We maintain our strict standards through our Quality Management Programme, drawing on our experience of delivering to the Government Decent Homes Standard, the Warm Homes Greener Homes Strategy, and the BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment criteria.
At Higgins Partnerships, we are focused on understanding the needs of residents and keeping the disruption associated with refurbishment to a minimum. Our Community Investment team engages with residents to understand their needs and empowers them with choice. The team also runs community activities, managing project expectations through the best possible communication and a friendly, understanding approach.
A high proportion of refurbishment work takes place with residents in occupation. The work directly impacts homes, lifestyles, and quality of life. We put health and safety at the top of the agenda and our refurbishments take every potential hazard into consideration, with a clear strategy to ensure the safety of residents at all times.
