Three sites have been nominated for this year’s CCS National Site Awards. Bourne Estate, King Square Estate and Gabriel Square have been selected as sites that have raised the bar for considerate construction.
Since 1998, the Scheme has been rewarding the UK’s most considerate sites for the contribution they have made towards improving the image of construction. The Scheme looks at the measures a site has put in place to be more considerate towards local neighbourhoods and the public, the workforce, and the environment.
Steve Leakey, Managing Director for Higgins Construction comments, “We are delighted that three of our sites have been nominated to win a National Site Award. The awards recognise the contribution we have made towards improving the image of construction and I would like to thank our team for making this possible. We look forward to finding out which awards they receive.”
The awards are attended by thousands of construction industry professionals and presented at numerous ceremonies held at locations across the UK. Sites nominated to receive an award will be presented with either Bronze, Silver or Gold within project value bandings, ensuring award winners have been reviewed against others of similar value.
