It’s been a successful year for Higgins and its Considerate Constructors Scheme visits.
As well as winning two gold awards, a silver and a bronze award at this year’s Considerate Constructors National Sites Awards, sites have been achieving scores of over 40 out of 50 on CCS visits.
Steve Leakey, Managing Director of Higgins comments, “We are absolutely delighted to have such positive results on our CCS visits this year. To achieve an average of 42.09 and out of the partners that have had five or more sites visits to be placed in seventh place out of 58 is a fantastic way to end 2019. I would like to congratulate all the teams for their hard work and commitment.”
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a not-for-profit, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image. Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements. Sites are awarded a Certificate of Excellence which recognises high levels of excellence and beyond statutory requirements to the neighbours, workforce and the environment.
