Kings Crescent Estate has won two prestigious architecture awards at this year’s Architects Journal Architecture Awards - Housing Project of the Year (over £10 million) and Editor’s Choice Award.

The project was applauded by the AJ Architecture Awards jury for demonstrating an ‘holistic approach that is socially and spatially innovative’. The project represents an alternative model to large scale demolition and rebuild and demonstrates that the delivery of high-quality public housing is both achievable and sustainable. The jury commented, “This is housing with character and without compromise. This is what all councils should be aiming for.”

The AJ Architecture Awards are highly coveted awards which recognise excellence in UK architecture across a range of categories which showcase the very best built projects in the UK.
