Talented young artists get their work displayed at Dan Court

Posted: 22/06/2020

The hoarding at Dan Court has been transformed into an abundance of colour thanks to all the wonderful artwork created by the children living there. We recently invited them to design posters to celebrate key workers and show their appreciation for all their hard work through the Coronavirus pandemic.

Lee Bright, Project Manager at Dan Court said, “We are so pleased with the quality of the posters we received from the children, ranging from the youngest, aged five through to 16 years old.  It’s wonderful to have them all on display for everyone to enjoy and we’ve also heard from the local hospital who were so impressed with the posters that they will be displaying them on their digital noticeboard.”

Sophia, winner of the competition said: "I really appreciate all the hard work and sacrifices of all key workers, especially my parents who are health care workers in the NHS, this is my best way to show my gratitude to all key workers, a big thank you and I salute you all. Stay Alert, Control the Virus and Save Lives!"

Higgins has been working with Catalyst on fire safety work at Dan Court, which features 138 new flats and basement car parking in Park Royal, Wembley including podium landscaping and above ground parking to the front of the scheme.
