Leading contractor/developer Higgins has completed the latest phase of Chobham Farm which forms part of the major post-Olympic regeneration masterplan for London Borough of Newham.
Chobham Farm Zone Two has delivered 154 new homes, providing private, affordable rent and shared ownership properties, along with two commercial spaces and a linear park which forms the central spine of the development.
Steve Boreham, Construction Director for Higgins comments, “We are extremely proud to have completed the latest phase in the regeneration of Chobham Farm. As well as delivering private sale homes, we have provided much needed affordable homes in the London Borough of Newham.”
The development is located in the western half of the site, within two blocks, blocks 2C and 3C. Block 2C rises to four storeys in height while Block 3C reaches between six and eight storeys. As part of the new scheme, there are also 45 undercroft parking spaces adjacent to Penny Brookes Street.
