Higgins’ apprenticeship programme recognised at National Awards

Higgins Partnerships has been awarded Highly Commended for Recruitment Excellence – Large Employer at the national finals for the National Apprenticeship Awards 2022. In the first year of entering the Large Employer category, the company was shortlisted against the likes of London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, Royal Air Force (South-West) and BBC (West Midlands) who were the eventual winners of the category.
The company has also been successful for the second year running at the Black Professionals in Construction Awards winning Best Apprenticeship Programme. The awards celebrate the amazing work done to make the construction and built environment sector an industry of choice and improve ethnic minority representation as well as retention.

Higgins Partnerships offers a wide range of opportunities from Level 2 to Level 7, including its successful Management Trainee Programme, for both direct entrants to the business and for existing employees to support their ongoing development.
The ‘Building Your Future’ Management Trainee Programme is currently open for applications for 2023. The programme allows individuals to get a taste of a number of core disciplines throughout the company before deciding on a chosen career path to specialise in. As part of the programme trainees will spend four days a week working with the remaining day spent at an industry accredited University working towards a Construction related BSc (Hons) degree apprenticeship.
