Higgins Homes shortlisted for two First Time Buyer Awards

The shortlist for this year’s prestigious First Time Buyer Awards has revealed Higgins Homes shortlisted for Private Developer of the Year and Best Small Development for Alphabet in NW6.
The awards, which are some of the industry’s most acclaimed, celebrate the sectors that support first time buyers.
“We are delighted to be shortlisted for Private Developer of the Year, especially because this award focusses not only on the design and quality of the properties, but also on all aspects of the developer’s performance,” says Jeremy Marcus, Sales & Marketing Director at Higgins Homes. “It is especially important that we take the time to help our buyers through the process and make it as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.”
Higgins has also been nominated for Best Small Development for Alphabet in NW6. The category aimed to demonstrate developments that used the best design and quality to create desirable, affordable, and inspiring environments to allow people to set up their first home.
Alphabet is a stylish new development of 30 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, set around a beautifully landscaped courtyard. With smart interiors and a high specification, residents also benefit from access to outside space with every apartment featuring a balcony or winter garden. Higgins are also working in partnership with Brent Council to provide 22 affordable homes for the local community.
The judges are also looking for schemes that fit into the local environment and can show how the design stands out and appeals to the target market. Higgins Homes had to also show what contribution they had made to improvements in the wider community.
“It is not just about building homes, it is also about transforming areas into vibrant communities,” continues Jeremy Marcus. “Alphabet will add to this vibrant part of London and support the South Kilburn Regeneration programme and its multi-million-pound investment.”
