Higgins Partnerships has been named on four lots on the new LHC Fire Safety (FS2) Framework.

The £150m framework will deliver fire protection, suppression and safety related services for housing associations, local authorities, and the wider public sector. It will also support organisations in meeting their legal responsibilities for fire safety under the Building Safety Act 2022 and Associated Legislation 2023.

This includes requirements from the Building Safety Regulator relating to wider building safety standards and fire safety measures for building control approval for higher risk buildings.

Higgins Partnerships will work with organisations in the East of England, London, and the South-East on the following lots:

  • Installation of Active Fire Protection
  • Installation of Fire Suppression Systems
  • Cladding Remediation
  • Multi-disciplinary - Installation

The framework has been developed following ongoing engagement and consultation with the market and public sector organisations, including housing associations and local authorities to provide an efficient, value for money procurement route to deliver a broad range of fire safety projects to ensure safety of tenants and occupants.

LHC is a leading, not-for-profit, purchasing consortium that provides best value, compliant procurement solutions for the refurbishment and maintenance of social housing, schools and other public sector buildings in England, Wales, and Scotland.

Higgins’ Specialist Works team looks forward to working partners on this four year framework.
