We are pleased to announce that Higgins has been appointed as one of 25 contractors to a new £300 million Building Remediation Framework established by The Guinness Partnership.

The four-year framework has been designed to support both planned and reactive remediation works across The Guinness Partnership’s residential and mixed-use developments, enhancing safety and quality across its portfolio.

The framework will cover a wide range of safety-critical interventions, including the removal of unsafe cladding, fire stopping, structural repairs, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) compliance upgrades.

The scope of works also includes fire doors, facade replacement, balcony refurbishment, lift upgrades, and fire detection systems, as well as compliance surveys and intrusive investigations to ensure the continued safety and integrity of buildings.

This appointment further strengthens Higgins’ position as a trusted partner in delivering high-quality, safety-led construction and remediation solutions across the housing sector.
