Hayes Town Centre Estate, Hillingdon
Originally constructed in the 1970s the Hayes Town Centre Estate is located adjacent to the Gran Union Canal and consists of medium rise flats and maisonettes with a high-rise point block comprising of 15 storeys.
Our vision is to regenerate the Hayes Town Centre Estate to deliver a high quality design, mixed tenure, development that will provide a significantly improved living environment for existing tenants and leaseholders; as well as for new residents.
Our proposals will optimise and add to the council’s own masterplan scheme for the site; providing more than 500 homes across 5 phases of development, and which follows the council’s decant strategy that enables as many existing tenants and leaseholders, who wish to remain living on the site, to move properties once.
The proposed development will also include a new community centre, public realm and amenity space, and secure car and cycle parking. The development will provide more than 500 homes, including 247 council rented homes, alongside homes for private sale and returning leaseholders. All of the council rented and returning leaseholder homes will be delivered in the earlier phases of the development; with the final phase comprising the majority of the private homes. The scheme delivers a mix of sizes and types, including 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed flats, as well as 3-bed and 4-bed duplexes and houses.
