Higgins Group PLC
Business and Continuity Plan in Response to Coronavirus
18.03.2020

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on the 16th March 2020 in response to the situation surrounding COVID-19, The Higgins Group has taken the decision to revise the Groups working practices for the foreseeable future.

The Business will remain fully operational and our offices remain open, however the safety and wellbeing of our people, our clients, supply chain and the environments in which we work remain of the utmost importance to us.

From today Wednesday 18th March, our sites, and aftersales service will continue as normal, however several steps have been taken in order to reduce any potential spread of COVID-19 at these locations, including the suspension of all biometric equipment and an implementation of essential meetings only policy (further information is available from each specific site or department).

Head office based staff have been given the facility of working from home and we will be operating a ‘split shift’ rotation of the staff, with a week working at HQ, and a week working from home. It should be stressed that all staff will remain working and contactable at all times during the normal working day.
Higgins Directors will also be operating a rotation at HQ but again will be contactable as usual.
It is likely that the circumstances will continue to change and our measures will be reviewed alongside the latest Government guidelines.
