Woodgrange Road, Forest Gate

Delivery of a Mixed-Use Development in partnership with Clarion Housing Group comprising 74, one, two and three bedroom, high quality affordable apartments, 1430 m2 Gross Internal Area of commercial including ancillary space at ground floor level comprising 3 individual retail units, one of which is designated as a Lidl store. The project was secured through Clarion’s Dynamic Purchasing System under a single-stage design and build procurement process.

Clarion wanted a skilled contracting partner who could demonstrate a keen appetite for the development together with a commercial and technical approach to the delivery. Working alongside our wider design team calfordseaden as architects and ST1 representing Clarion as Project Managers, our internal Design Team and our supply chain partners delivered a range of value engineering and optimisation workshops. We offered Clarion an alternative foundation solution comprising piling in lieu of a raft that provided a significant saving in time and cost.
