A new community of 48 high-quality, mixed tenure houses for our sister company, Higgins Homes. Coggeshall, is one of the oldest towns in Essex, the houses range from three, four to five-bedroom family homes. In keeping with its surroundings, Coggeshall West development combines modern style and smart technology with sensitive architecture that is in keeping with its historical surroundings.

Our wider design team included Architect Melville Dunbar Associates. The houses are all 2-storey traditional brick and block construction with concrete ground floor beams and block and timber upper floors and roofs in keeping with the historical town. Set over 8 acres of natural landscape, the houses feature a high specification and are light and spacious with every detail carefully considered and designed with modern families in mind. Each house has its own private garden and the development also features substantial public outdoor space and play areas.

The landscaping works include a significant area of public open space wrapping around the western and southern edges of the development. There are walkways through the grounds leading to the River Blackwater.
