New Stratford Works, Stratford

Chobham Farm Zone 2, Stratford, forms the central part of the Chobham Farm Masterplan area in the London Borough of Newham. It falls within London’s Olympic District controlled and promoted by the London Legacy Development Corporation. This development was completed for our sister development company Higgins Homes and includes 154, one, two and three bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom villas.

Zone 2 provides the second phase of the linear park which forms the central spine of the development. The development for the Zone 2 site includes 154 residential properties of mixed tenure, commercial space, undercroft parking and extensive outdoor amenity space within two blocks against the western half of the site – named 2C and 3C. Block 2C is 4 storeys in height, and block 3C is between 6 and 8 storeys in height.

The Concept Architect was PTE Architects, with PRP Architects as the Working Drawings Architect. There are 137 apartments and 17 villas all designed to maximise space with open plan layouts, large windows and outside space in the form of terraces and balconies. The development includes a new park centrally located within the development.
