Ealing Road, Alperton

Mixed Use Development in Alperton, London for Metropolitan Thames Valley providing a single “U” shaped apartment block, ranging in height from 4 to 8 storeys, providing 125 mixed tenure apartments, 312 m2 workshop space and 150 m2 basement plant room, new electrical substation and 57 car spaces within the undercroft ground floor level.

The development had working drawings completed by RPS Architects and ECD Architects acting as architects with Philip Pank Partnership acting as Employer’s Agent for Metropolitan Thames Valley. The tenure mix of the apartments included 55 private sale, 51 shared ownership and 19 for affordable rent.

The development also included all associated landscaping and drainage and a central courtyard area with children’s play space. The design incorporated building fabric enhancements to increase the energy efficiency of the building. Sustainable design and construction measures were incorporated to supply energy efficiently and to reduce energy use across the development. The project was built to meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and BREEAM excellent for the community buildings.

As part of our commitment to social value in the communities in which we work our Social Value Team delivered the following: 4 apprentices, 2 internships, 1 Trainee Site Manager and delivered 4 trainees to our subcontractors, 1 NVQ plumber, 1 NVQ bricklayer and 2 NVQ electricians.
